Last summer, I found myself on the receiving end of several calls from this mystery number that just wouldn’t let up. I can’t even count how many times I had to say the same thing over and over: "Please stop calling me." Every single time I picked up, the caller was asking for someone named Mr. Luna. Honestly, I was baffled. I had to explain, probably for the umpteenth time, that I had no idea who Mr. Luna was, that this wasn’t his phone number, and that they really needed to take my number off their list. It got frustrating, to say the least. Each call felt like déjà vu; the same awkward conversation, the same clueless caller insisting on asking for someone I’ve never even heard of. And just when I thought he would get the hint, he started bringing up his address out of nowhere. Like, seriously? Who wants to hear that? I put my foot down and told him just to drop it. I didn’t care about his address—what I really wanted was for him to just stop calling me altogether. It’s safe to say I was fed up with the whole situation. If any of you out there receive a ring from this number, I strongly recommend blocking it right away, no matter where you live—yes, even if you’re in Colorado! The area code on that phone number seems totally unrelated to Colorado, but somehow this persistent caller believes he needs to reach Mr. Luna, who, as luck would have it, lives somewhere in this state. Honestly, I don’t know exactly where Mr. Luna is hiding, but if this guy is calling me, I'm starting to wonder just how many other folks he’s bothering with the same relentless quest for this elusive Mr. Luna. What’s really crazy is that I thought this guy had finally gotten the message after all my pleading last year for him to stop. Yet, here we are—a whole year later, and what does he do? He calls me again! It’s enough to make anyone want to pull their hair out! I've totally had my fill, and I just want this whole calling saga to be over.
