Alert: SMS scam attempt in the name of Wave

I received an SMS informing me that I had won a gift of 10,000 F CFA and inviting me to click on a link. Upon checking the message, several elements alerted me: a promise of free money without having participated in an offer, a link that does not seem to be an official Wave site, and a message urging quick action before the offer ends. I did not click on the link and I am sharing this experience to raise awareness among others. Before clicking on a link received by SMS, always verify that it comes from the company's official site. Never share your PIN code, password, or validation code.
