AMAZON SCAM

I called in to Amazon to have them help me get the Amazon Prime Movie app installed on my new Verizon Fios cable television service. a man calls me back and identify himself by telling me his name and says that he can help me with the Amazon Prime movie app. He says to me that he has to verify my identity first. After he does that he says that I have to buy GIFT CARDS totaling $709.90. Get used my debit card linked to my checking account and two credit cards.

i had the same thing happen. the man was near East Indian and I could hear lots of other Indian men in the background. i could see him buying gift cards so I immediately disconnected and blocked him. Amazon wasn't interested
