I received a call from an unknown contact on Friday, September 12, 2025, who claimed to be working at the MTN office. He told me that he mistakenly sent me money and that he wanted it back. There upon, I saw that my account was suspended for 90 days.
who can tell me why mostly MTN numbers are used in this scam business?

Ranjeet Srivastav4 months agoNow the fraudulents are sharing applications via whatsapp and it looks like there is a vehicle Challan is there with Government logo. As soon as you install the app, your phone will be hacked. Be mindful.
They are swindlers. Do not contact them for any services. They will take your money upfront but won't do the work.
