Axis bank Credit Card Insurance scam

One of my friend lost his 1.34 lakh in this scam. A scamer called on his phone telling him that he is from axis bank credit company and to protect your credit card and transaction a security fees needed to be deducted and this will be the insurance fees for you card. then somehow he increased the credit card merchant payment limit to 1.5 lakh. after increasing limit, he sent a fake link telling him that this is the credit card website. and you need to fill out the details on the site to get insurance amount of 3000 rs. to be deducted. my friend opened the link without even thinking that it could be a scam. after he opened the link, the wesite was designed like a bank credit card website of axis bank. he thought that it would be the real website. He entered all the card details,cvv,pin, even the otp. and the 1.34 lakh deducted from his account at the time. scamer added the card to an amazon pay account and deducted the money. then my friend asked him, scamer told him that the your money is safe and it will reflect in 24 hours. Then my friend called me that this has happened, i checked the link was fraud. Scammer turned the mobile to switch off. This is to inform that these tricks they use. they make real looking bank websites and told you to entere the details on the website. Please do not click on any link eithout confirming it.
