Beware of vehicle challan scams

I have received a message on WhatsApp that my vehicle had traffic violations and need to pay fine for it. I have checked that the phone number is a US based number. Also the link had similar but a different domain than the parivahan portal. Do not respond to such messages. Always try to go to the appropriate portal using Google search and pay fine if any. Also check that the phone number is belonging to your country when you get such messages.
