block all numbers not in contacts
one feature that has helped me is blocking all calls not in my contact list. I have a recycled number apparently and get up to 10 spam calls a day from numbers that have almost the exact numerical sequence but change one digit. I've also been receiving spam messages. Hopefully if I keep this feature on, they will give up altogether- we shall see...

I myself love this feature. Those not in my Contacts Listing get cut. So I get NO spam or scammers calling me. Friends I advise to Text Me, since I turn off at night, and volume set to zero to increase battery life. I wish I could do this for Utube ads, but I'm unwilling to pay for Utube Premium, since they censor, delete, or shadow ban all my comments. Adapt and Overcome !

Yes, but what happens if we give a friend our # but have not added it. They would be blocked. I also use the number sequencing to block numbers that change on or two digits. **** will block: ****-55*-123* will block: 870-879 and 550-559 and *** Of course these will be the #'s shown in the caller ID. Which are FAKE provided by number brokers: Onvoy, LLC - xx xx=(state or country abbreviation) Nuso, LLC Peerless Network and others. Google these companies to see what they do.

yes I did the same but you may want to turn that feature off if you are expecting a delivery or a service person that is going to call when they are on the way so you don't miss their call. Then turn back on the call blocking if not in your contact.
