In Mzuzu, a young man named Mike wanted to buy a cheap Toyota Mark X he found on Facebook. The seller sent fake pictures and documents and convinced Mike to send money for a deposit and transport fees. After sending the money, the scammer disappeared and blocked him. Mike later learned that the deal was fake and warned others to always verify cars and sellers before making payments online.
