Under Algerian law, the crime of fraud is proven by establishing that the perpetrator used fraudulent methods (such as false names or false descriptions, or fictitious projects) to steal the victim's money, by presenting material or digital evidence, calling witnesses, or providing strong evidence confirming the occurrence of the fraud.En droit algérien, le délit d’escroquerie est prouvé en établissant que l’auteur a utilisé des méthodes frauduleuses (telles que de faux noms ou de fausses descriptions, ou des projets fictifs) pour voler l’argent de la victime, en présentant des preuves matérielles ou numériques, en faisant appel à des témoins, ou en apportant des preuves solides qui confirment la survenance de l’escroquerie.

This number *** called me claiming to be from the Algerian central post office and told me that my gold card had expired and that I needed to go to any nearby post office to replace it. They ask for your information and your gold card number, claiming it is just a routine confirmation, then they ask for the number sent to you via SMS. This way, they can withdraw every penny from your current account. Beware of such transactions.
