I was the victim of an email scam; a stranger contacted me claiming he would send me millions of dollars, but only if I paid him $1,500 upfront as a fee to facilitate the transaction or transfer the funds.

I received a call on this number [PHONE] saying its from forensics. no mention of bank. When I asked they said Fnb, then they started asking expiry of my card and that i should take email to bank to collect an updated card because of system upgrade.
