This scam is becoming very common. If you offer services, they call you and arrange to meet you in a place where you have poor signal or make you turn off your data. Then they start pressuring your family and threaten them, pretending to be groups outside the law (ELN, FARC, CLAN), saying they will kill your family member to make you pay extortion. People, don't fall for this method; they are common criminals and your family member is actually safe. They also psychologically manipulate them so they don't leave the place. This entire scam takes about 15-20 minutes.Se está volviendo muy común está estafa, si ofreses servicios te llaman y te citan en un lugar donde no tengas buena señal o te hacen apagar los datos y después empiezan a presionar a tu familia y amenazan haciéndose pasar por grupos al margen de la ley (ELN, FARC, CLAN) que te asesinan al familiar con la idea de que pagues una extorsión, gente no caigan bajo esa modalidad, son delincuentes comunes y realmente tu familiar está seguro, solo que también lo trabajan psicológicamente para que no se mueva de un lugar. toda está estafa es en cuestión de 15 - 20 min.

It happened to me last week. They summoned my relative to a supposed job interview, in a place far away and without signal. Then they call saying they are from the FARC, demanding a lot of money for the ransom, and if you don't send it, they send you photos and videos of your dead relative. You can hear screams in the background asking for help, banging sounds, they used my relative's voice with AI and it sounded like he was asking for help. Finally, my relative was fine, but near the place of the supposed interview there was a black van... They call from several numbers and call every day to see who falls for it.
