Scam involving the sale of household products

A few days ago I saw a post from a shoemaker and since I needed something, I inquired about the price and delivery process. They told me I had to pay in advance and I said no, that it should be cash on delivery "as it is always done," but after negotiations I agreed to pay 50% upfront and the product never arrived 😠. I wrote and called many times but they blocked me. Investigating the address and the name they gave me of the company with a supposed RUC (which gave me some security), I was told that people have already gone to that office, which belongs to another company, to complain about similar scams they had been victims of.
