Fake Cyber Police/DIG Impersonation Call

I received a suspicious phone call from [PHONE] on 4 October 2026 at approximately 9:28 AM. The caller falsely claimed to be a DIG/Cyber Police officer from Lucknow. He accused me of viewing inappropriate content on Chrome/internet and tried to intimidate and frighten me. The caller's profile used the name “Lucknow head office dig adhikari” and a police officer's photograph. I believe this was a police impersonation scam. I did not make any payment and did not share any OTP, bank details or sensitive information. I am reporting this so that the number can be investigated and other people can be protected from similar scams.
