Fake QR code sticker in parking lot to steal payment

so the other day i was just parking at an underground parking lot and I went to look for the QR code to pay but on the sign that the QR code is on I saw the corner of the QR code was like lifted up on the corner and then I realized someone put a QR code sticker on the real QR code so you fall for it and scan the sticker and send them money instead of paying for the parking . btw I didn't pay
