I received an SMS from ACASHB: "Dear TrdConf A/C 8597×××××× is Received Rs 10224, Balance [PHONE] Cr, To view Statement Click - bit.ly/3V6x8va?94 Team AC Agarwal Share Brokers Pvt Ltd" RED FLAGS: 1. Official broker never uses bit.ly short link for statement. 2. Unexpected credit of Rs 10224 without any trade. 3. Asking to click link urgently - phishing trick. HOW I STAYED SAFE: 1. I DID NOT click the bit.ly link. 2. I have not any ACCOUNT in Agarwal official App. 3. I reported as Spam and filed complaint on cybercrime.gov.in and 1930 helpline. TIP: Never click bit.ly / tinyurl links for bank or trading statements. Always use official App. Report to 1930.
