Fake transaction text messages

He pretended as my father's friend, said that he is sending 12k in my account cause my father told him. Then he send fake transaction text messages of payment credit. But I didn't get any credit in my bank account. Then he sent me a link on whatsapp and said that he sent money in Paytm wallet. Asked me to click on the link to receive money in my account. I didn't do that. I called my father, he is unaware of such friend of him. Stay safe from such frauds
