Fake WhatsApp Traffic Challan Scam Message
I received a fake traffic challan message on WhatsApp. The message claimed that there are 2 pending challans for my vehicle and a pending amount of ₹2000. The message seems suspicious/fake and there is a risk of scam or fraud. I have not made any payment on this message nor shared any personal or banking information. I am reporting this scam message so that others can stay alert.Mujhe WhatsApp par ek fake traffic challan ka message mila. Message mein claim kiya gaya ki mere vehicle ke 2 pending challans hain aur ₹2000 ka pending amount hai. Message suspicious/fake lag raha hai aur ismein scam ya fraud ka risk hai. Maine is message par koi payment nahi ki aur na hi koi personal ya banking information share ki. Main is scam message ko report kar raha hoon taaki doosre log bhi isse alert rahen.

This is a fake message by the vehicle information app people. One must ignore such messages. Police does not send such messages on WhatsApp.
