met with them, they came to my shop claim to be from Eco Bank staff and they are loaning out money all they need is your 6 months Bank statement and that's how they get into your very sensitive details and steal your money,,, don't engage any man or woman claiming to be from any bank,,,they are all over looking very genuine but smart thieves

if you have taken their money, start by paying them back as then you become scammer instead of victim. pay with interest as they mostly have interest similar to bank. but if you have not taken their money and they have scammed you then do 1930. also comment on their profile. see if truecaller deletes your comment if truecaller deletes and supports them then truecaller is compromised.

Route 1 - The "Ignore and Block" Strategy (Recommended for Illegal Apps) If this is an unregulated, illegal app (which it looks like based on the extreme harassment), do not pay them a single rupee. Paying them a "settlement" will not stop them; it just proves you have money, and they will blackmail you for more. What to do: Immediately uninstall the app. Change your phone number or turn off your SIM card for 2-3 weeks. The Reality: They cannot affect your CIBIL score if they are an illegal app. They will try to call your contacts because they already copied your contact list. Put up a status on your social media warning friends: "My phone was hacked and scammers are using my contact list to extort money. Please ignore and block any strange calls regarding me." Once you go silent and they can't reach you, they will move on. Route 2 - The Legal Settlement (Only if it is a RBI-Registered App) Check if the app is actually tied to a legitimate, RBI-registered NBFC. If it is a legal app, they cannot legally harass or blackmail you. What to do: Send an official email to their grievance redressal officer stating your financial hardship (unemployment) and ask for an official closure/settlement plan via email. Do not pay through random WhatsApp links. File a Complaint: If they resort to abusive language or threaten your contacts, immediately file a complaint on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (***) or call 1930. Take screenshots of the threats; cyber police take loan app extortion very seriously. Moving Forward: Take a deep breath. This is a very common trap, and you are not a criminal—you are the victim of extortion. Protect your mental peace, shut off their access to you, and never download unverified loan apps again. You will get through this.

Reg Nbfc with Rbi dont do these *** 7 days loan app are the culprits. hiding using multiple VPN, using 10 lines multi device to call .nothing to fear .just dont talk to them. Put do not disturb on mobile remove whatsapp or telegram take back up . One more important, if they dont get you ,they start sending new loan offers , dont accept for now.
