Fraud Report Regarding Used Bike Purchase
I have been defrauded while searching for a used bike on the OLX application. I found a Pulsar 150, and the seller agreed to sell it for 80,000. The timeline of the scam is as follows: Initial Payment: The seller asked for an advance payment of 5,000 to "book" the vehicle. I paid this amount. The next day, he requested my Aadhaar card and rental agreement, claiming they were needed for6 the RC (Registration Certificate) transfer. Shipping Scam//: On the third day, he claimed the vehicle was being shifted to my location. He demanded an additional 10,000, stating I could pay the remaining balance once I received the RC. Disappearance//: He sent fake photos of transport vehicles to gain my trust and looted my money. I have waited for three weeks, but there has been no update, and his mobile phone is now switched off.
