Fraudulent Instagram Seller – Advance Payment Taken, Seller Disappeared and Issued Threats.
I found a seller on Instagram offering 3 bags for ₹2,000. We agreed that I would pay ₹1,000 in advance through UPI and the remaining ₹1,000 as Cash on Delivery (COD). Based on this agreement, I paid the advance amount. However, after receiving my payment, the seller demanded additional money before dispatching the order. When I refused to pay more, the seller promised to refund my ₹1,000 but never did. Instead, they stopped responding to my calls and messages, and their phone number is now unavailable. The seller has effectively disappeared after taking my money. In addition, I have received threatening messages from them, which has caused me significant stress and concern. I believe I have been cheated and request immediate action against the seller, recovery of my ₹1,000, and appropriate legal action to prevent others from becoming victims of similar fraud. Phone Number Used by the Scammers- [PHONE]/ [PHONE]. I don't know why this app blurred these numbers

Use Instagram’s in-app tools to report the profile for fraud or scamming, which helps them identify and shut down malicious accounts.
