GAS cylinder new connection scam

I downloaded the official ' indian oil one' android app and registered a complaint about 'new LPG gas connection' as I require one. To my surprise within 15 to 20 mins, someone called me from this number [PHONE] and showed me my original connection details feom indane platform and that is when I thought this person might be genuine. Then he offered me several choices of LPG connection, like single bottle account, double bottle account etc and demanded 3689 rupees for a single bottle account. He also generated a service request no. 1-1606...... and then asked for other details like e mail ID etc. When I asked him that which gas agency will deliver me this, he said that we will connect you to a delivery partner who will deliver you the cylinder. Someone from the inside is leaking consumer info like this and causing this scam OR user data has been breached in IOCL. SHAME ON IOCL , they think their responsibility ends by just putting a disclaimer on their app. Please don't fall for this trap.
