  just contact bank manager directly and not other bank staff, keep a recording of your discussion. do not tell him about the message, ask him if any outstanding is there in your account. if bank is involved in this scam, they will tell there is outstanding dues, ask for a copy of the loan documents, verify the same and if it is fake, take the matter with RBI banking ombudsman. this type of scam happened to some of my friends in ICI.. bank. cybercrime is also part of the network, only RBI can save you. whatever action you take, try to record everything

  phone number mistake by someone, contact that bank, show that message, tell that account is not yours and request number removal from that account and then request bank to do ekyc of that bank holder account again as phone number was wrong. this way you nor bank account holder gets wronged as you get your number removed and the bank account holder gets to correct his bank account number but im curious, to register a number you get otp first only then it gets registered even email they send otp first. if you didnt get otp then its fake message to get your attention, dont contact by message, directly contact that bank so that you directly talk with bank. eg: someone shares you invoice or bill saying that its from x company, that x company is mine but i never sent you bill, you directly contact me and found that i never sent you bill. means that bill is fake.

  mob no given to bank n message send from bank to right person is good . but if u r not account holder or any body send u message u should complaint to the branch by visit or one call . u can complaint to cyber crime department.
