HDFC ERGO POLICY AUTO RENEWAL

Hi all, I have been getting numerous calls from unidentified callers claiming that they are calling behalf of HDFC Ergo health insurance. My existing policy got expired and it is on auto renewal and if I don't take any action then around 35K will get auto debited from my account. this is a scam. I checked with hdfc ergo and they have sent me an official email saying there no such policy in existence. moreover, they have mentioned that we don't call customers with unknown numbers. please beware of such callers as they would ask you to cancel the auto debit by clicking on a link with which they can withdraw money from your account.
