HDFC Sr Citizen Credit Card scam via WhatsApp call and APK link

Of late, there are ads posted about Sr Citizen Credit Card from HDFC Banks. To check the authenticity, I just clicked interested. I got a call from a person stating my card has been approved and I have to give my acceptance in the WhatsApp sent by him from a Personal mobile number. An APK file link was sent. My suspicion was true that it was another type of scam. . A here was
