house rental scam?
I was approached by an online friend offering a share in the rental of a property listed by Raywhiterealty@protomail.com This email was directed to my email address by this person because she didn't have her phone to hand . I've become suspicious that i may have been scammed all too late. i paid the half rent share Unreturnable unfortunately.

people who have been hacked might often have their account used for things like that. a teacher of mine got a message from his dead cousin's account...

If they're a good friend then I'd call them and ask them or see them in person to talk about it
