  It hard to block all scammers these days. They use software over the internet that show up as calls within Australia as legitimate numbers when they are somewhere oversees. And they just change the number so you can't just block them once. To be clear, I don't work for Truecaller. But databases like this where enough people flag the calls/numbers means we can shut them done faster. In Australia, we have *** to report and they investigate or send it off to other jurisdictions. Many other countries have their own institutions and are worth looking up. when we have millions of people working together and authorities adequately informed it's only a matter of time before their caught. There's other technologies emerging that are making this even faster.

  suspicious. block that phone number in your phone settings. then delete the text.
