Impersonation scam via phone for Amazon gift cards

I was recently scammed in late April. I called in to Amazon for help with something and someone intercepted the call and impersonated themselves as a Amazon customer service representative and an Amazon technician. they convinced me to buy gift cards for them in order for them to help me get the free Amazon Prime movie app on my new television service. it took 2 months to resolve everything but everything is fine now. be careful who you talk to on the phone because they may not be who you think they are. and once they get you on the phone they will lie to you constantly in order to get what they want.
