Instagram account recover scam froud
I was a victim of an Instagram account recovery scam. My first conversation with the person took place on Snapchat. He claimed that he had direct connections with Instagram and could recover my suspended Instagram account. Later, he contacted me on WhatsApp and repeatedly assured me that my account would definitely be restored if I paid him ₹2,000. Believing his claims and assurances, I transferred ₹2,000 to him. However, immediately after receiving the money, he blocked me on WhatsApp and stopped responding. I then contacted him again through his Snapchat account and informed him that I was going to report the matter to the police and cyber crime authorities. Instead of helping or returning my money, he mocked the police and said that they could do nothing against him. He even told me to “see their faces when you file a complaint,” and then blocked me on Snapchat as well. I believe that the individual intentionally gained my trust by making false promises about recovering my Instagram account, took ₹2,000 from me, and then blocked me on all platforms. I respectfully request that this matter be investigated and that appropriate legal action be taken against the scammer.
