instant loan apps are fraud

Avoid taking loans from instant loan apps available on the Play Store or Google. These apps often approve loans with minimal documents, but charge extremely high interest. If there’s any delay in payment, they may harass and abuse you. Many also misuse your KYC documents and photos to create morphed images for blackmail and extortion. Only borrow from RBI-registered entities or banks. Avoid any lender that operates outside of these channels. If you’ve already become a victim of this scam: 1. Stop all communication with them immediately. 2. Do not make any further payments. They will keep blackmailing you for more until you have nothing left. 3. Report the app and the harassment to the cybercrime portal at https://cybercrime.gov.in and to your local police. Stay safe and don’t engage with them at all.
