ISKCON Donation Scam using WhatsApp

I got a WhatsApp message from a number naming as ISKCON mentioning about Celebrating my Birthday by feeding a meal to Needy. When I have checked the number using a UPI Payment App, the KYC Banking Name of that mobile number isn't showing ISKCON at all. So, I would insist and request everyone to kindly check the source of the information, verify whether is it genuine and verified before donating or paying.

Most probably you provided your details deliberately while purchasing their books or some other products and now they are sending you messages! I don't feel that this is a scam since I also receive such messages after I provided my details to them...
