"I saw your post about the job fraud and I’m really sorry this happened to you. This is a common scam where people pretend to be recruiters to steal 'registration fees.' Since you have already made a payment, here is what you should do immediately to try and get your money back: File a Cyber Crime Complaint: Go to *** or call the national helpline at 1930 immediately. The sooner you report the transaction, the higher the chance the authorities can freeze the money in the scammer's account. Contact Your Bank: Call your bank’s fraud department or visit your branch right away. If you used a UPI app (like PhonePe, Google Pay, or Paytm), report the transaction as a fraud within the app as well. Save All Evidence: Keep screenshots of the payment confirmation, the phone number they used, and any message history. Do not delete them, as the police will need these for the investigation. Do Not Pay More: Sometimes these scammers call back from a different number asking for a 'security deposit' or 'document verification fee' to 'release' your job. Ignore them.
