If you were to ever get a hidden call and answer, to find that it is "police" saying that you missed a court date and you have to pay a "fine" via Zelle, cash app, etc. it is always a scam. Something to know, Law enforcement will NEVER ask for money over the phone. Also, any department will NOT call asking for a "donation", it is a scam aswell. Hope you could learn from this, and teach others how to spot a scam. Have a good day. Even though it is nighttime when I'm writing this, I'm calling it day because I feel like it, and you can't do anything about it.

Juan, I think our tips are wasted effort. The number of appallingly sterpoid folks making comments here, makes me think MOST folks are "dumb as a box of rocks". Perfect ready made DUPES of clever scammers.
