The fridge never arrives

I saw a fridge, asked for the price, he told me it was such and such. I said I'll take it. But he said he'll give it to me for half. I gave him the money, and then he started making excuses that he couldn't because he got a call from work, then that he didn't have gas, and that maybe tomorrow or the weekend. And he never showed up, neither the money nor the fridge.

How trusting, honestly, from the receipt it was clear it was a scam because you did a SINPE transfer with Caja de Ande and he showed one that said "Bn informa." It's better to distrust everyone, from buying over the phone to in person, they can steal from you and rob you. Make sure the person's information is real and don't trust anyone.

I don't understand why people are still so foolish, that they first hand over part of the money to a stranger; with so many cases that I know of and they still don't learn.🤦‍♀️💁‍♀️
