MARRIAGE BUREAU SCAM

Subject: Complaint Regarding Marriage Bureau Fraud I would like to lodge a complaint against a person operating a marriage bureau service who appears to have cheated me and several others. I saw an advertisement in a newspaper stating that brides were looking for suitable grooms, along with a contact number. After contacting the number, the person informed me that I would receive the details of prospective brides only after paying a registration fee of ₹6,000. Relying on these representations, I paid the registration amount as instructed. However, after receiving the payment, the person neither shared any bride details nor provided the promised service. Repeated attempts to contact the person have been unsuccessful, as calls are not being answered and there has been no response to messages. I have also learned that several of my friends were similarly induced to pay money and have suffered the same loss. This indicates a pattern of fraudulent conduct intended to deceive members of the public. I request the concerned authorities to investigate the matter, take appropriate legal action against the person responsible, and help recover the money collected through this fraudulent scheme. I am willing to provide copies of the newspaper advertisement, payment receipts, call records, messages, and any other relevant evidence in support of my complaint.
