This is not a scam!! Actually, it seems for bank verification, when you link the bank account on PhonePe, an encrypted message is sent from your number to the bank's server, it is verified whether your bank is on that number or๐ not.
Carlos Lebo2 months agoDo not give them the code. That is almost certainly a scam attempt to take over your WhatsApp account. A real company or WhatsApp support will never call and ask for your verification code.
