How Scammers Stole My Phone One evening I was in Blantyre walking alone after buying some things in town. My phone was very nice, and I loved using it for music and social media. I did not know that some people were already watching me. As I was walking, a man came to me quickly and said: “Boss, can you help me make a call? I was robbed and my phone died.” Because I wanted to help, I gave him my phone, but I did not stand close to him. After receiving the phone, he started walking slowly as if he was looking for a better network signal. Then another man came behind me and started asking me many questions to distract me. When I turned around for a moment, the man with my phone suddenly started running. I tried to chase him, but his friends blocked my way pretending they did not know what was happening. Many people were just watching. After a few minutes, all the scammers disappeared together with my phone. I felt very hurt because that phone had my pictures, contacts, and many important things. From that day, I learned that:

This happened to me too luckly I wasn't robbed thanks to some guy who was near by. This what happened. This other man came asking if I would help him make a call to his wife who was then in hospita,l according to him. I gave him the phone so he could check on his wife in hospital. it didy take long the guy was gone. That's when I noticed I have been scammed. some moment later tall guy came to me with my phone while shouting at me kumasamala phone muno ndi mtown. This was gone.

You've reminded me of this other day I was at 6 miles stage waiting for someone and a certain man came and asked to use my phone coz his was out of airtime...but judging from the looks and dressing, you could tell that this one is a thief and a scammer so I didn't give him my phone, I said I was using it too and I stepped out of the place

even to me this happen that time i was from chipiku store to buy a ticket to bingu stadium, he ask me to help him making a call to a certain company he deliver 🫘beans, thereafter he disappeared gone with my phone

aah that's too bad buddy, these criminals use several tricks just to rob of you. Next time try as much as possible not to feel pity on them.
