Near scam experience. They are getting very good at it I must say.

So I'm in this what's app group where they claim they give good deals for used iPhones, uk used phones and other. I don't even know how they got my number to add me and as a human I thought oh maybe it's a friend who added me so it's legit. The scary part is that these deals are very realistic. They provide everything like a real dealer would, phone pics, vids, phone details, so when you see it you'd think it's legit. I saw a nice iPhone 12 for 1600, very good deal I thought, because their other prices were reasonable so why would this be fake and besides he even wrote under it that he needed the money urgently. We started talking and I was even asking for a reduction but he was also resisting like a real dealer so it made me feel he was legit. Where I came back to my senses was when he started pressuring me to make payments so he reserves the phone for me. Even still I thought he was just trying to help me secure the phone so that it wouldn't get sold out. So i stepped out to deposit some money into my momo to send him the money but I wasn't feeling right. My instinct was telling me not to send it and even if I wanted the phone I should get it in person and pay in person not any advance. So I stopped. I came back to the group and went through some other phones and I noticed that there's an iPhone shop in the background of some of those pics so I took the name and searched it on Google maps. Luckily for me, there was a number attached to it so I took that number and asked if he was associated with any group or even if he knew the number I was texting. He said he knew nothing about it.
