Core Principles to Avoid Scams * Never Click Unverified Links: If you receive an SMS or WhatsApp message with a link claiming money was credited or a prize is waiting, do not tap the link. * Verify Directly on Official Apps: Always check your actual banking app, UPI app (PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm), or account dashboard directly to see if funds or orders exist. * Remember the UPI Rule: You never need to enter your UPI PIN, scan a QR code, or click a link to receive money.
