Online Financial Fraud via YouTube Channel – SK Fancy Sarees Collection

I am writing to report an online shopping fraud committed through a YouTube channel named SK Fancy Sarees Collection (handle: @skfancysarees). How the Fraud Happened: My mother came across this YouTube channel, which displays saree videos with attractive designs at very affordable prices. Upon checking the channel, I noticed there was no proper business description, no website, and the comments section was disabled — only a WhatsApp number was provided for contact. Despite my doubts, I proceeded since I have prior experience buying sarees from other YouTube channels through WhatsApp. Timeline of Events: 21st April 2026 – I messaged the WhatsApp number provided on the channel, requesting details and a screenshot of a specific saree. 22nd April 2026 – They responded, shared their address, and asked me to make a payment of ₹650 via a QR code, which I did. After payment, they confirmed the order and said it would be delivered within 3 to 4 days. Shortly after, they deleted the payment QR code from the chat. When I followed up after a few days asking for a tracking number, there was no response. They then blocked my number completely, and I realized I had been scammed. This channel may be targeting many unsuspecting viewers, especially homemakers and elderly women who trust YouTube channels for shopping. The deliberate disabling of comments prevents victims from warning others. I urge immediate action to investigate this channel and the associated WhatsApp number to prevent further fraud.
