Paid tasks scam with fake profits and increasing fees

At first, they make everything look completely genuine so that we don’t feel like it’s a scam. They’ll ask us to rate different places or complete simple tasks, and after completing them, they’ll say that we have to pay a small amount for a “prepaid task.” They usually start with small amounts like ₹100 or ₹200, which makes it feel safe and believable. They may also show payment proofs, screenshots, fake reviews, or tell us that other people are successfully earning money through the same process. Sometimes they even return the money or give a small profit in the beginning, just to make sure we trust them and believe that the platform is genuine. Once we start trusting them, they give another task and ask us to pay again. After we make the payment, they suddenly say that the task has expired, that there was some mistake, or that we need to pay ₹299 to reactivate or unlock the task. They keep giving different reasons and asking for more money. The whole thing is designed to make us believe that we are almost going to get our money back, so we keep paying instead of realizing that we are being trapped. They start with small amounts so that we don’t immediately suspect anything, and once they know we are willing to pay, the amount keeps increasing.
