I couldn't open my account because it associates me with an old phone number, so I contacted support. In summary, they told me I had to do a face verification, etc., and that I would receive a link. There was no link; only at the end of the text, there was a 'start' marked as a link that directed me to Google to access my account, navigating through WhatsApp. I don't know if this is a scam, but it's strange that within WhatsApp it opens Google, and also it never directed me to the face verification.
