Booking.com Phishing: Travel and Refund Scam That Never Existed

Personally, I have never used websites or apps to book trips or anything like that. In fact, I haven't gone on trips requiring accommodation for years, I haven't even traveled (same goes for my close family, the country's economy doesn't allow it). Today I was calm and received this SMS (the sender showed as [PHONE]), I just read it, didn't click on it because as soon as I read it I started laughing at how ridiculous it was. The scammers and thieves are running out of ideas. Where on earth have I gotten $600+ dollars to spend like that?! Not even in my dreams🤣🤣🤣 These guys think I'm a millionaire and not someone counting every penny given the current situation. However, I also warn about this for those who do use these platforms to book travel and accommodation, be very careful with your data (NEVER give your card information or enter it) and other crucial information about yourselves, otherwise you might confuse this message with a real refund you are processing.
