Posting this to stay alert. Today, my family narrowly escaped falling victim to a scam. Suddenly, a call came from an unknown number saying, "Your father had an accident, there is heavy bleeding. He is at the National Hospital." Then they quickly asked for about 9,500 taka for medicine. Although the matter seemed suspicious, we got scared. Later, I directly called my elder father and found out, Alhamdulillah, he was fine. Then I realized it was an attempt to scam. ⚠️ So I request everyone, if you get such a call, do not send money out of fear. First, directly contact your family member to confirm the matter. Stay alert, and warn others too.সতর্ক থাকার জন্য পোস্টটি করা। আজ আমার পরিবার একটি প্রতারণার শিকার হতে হতে বেঁচে গেছে। হঠাৎ একটি অপরিচিত নম্বর থেকে ফোন করে বলা হয়, “আপনার বাবা এক্সিডেন্ট করেছেন, অনেক ব্লিডিং হচ্ছে। ন্যাশনাল হাসপাতালে আছি।” এরপর দ্রুত ওষুধের জন্য প্রায় ৯,৫০০ টাকা চাওয়া হয়। বিষয়টি সন্দেহজনক মনে হলেও আমরা ভয় পেয়ে গিয়েছিলাম। পরে আমি সরাসরি বড় আব্বুকে ফোন করে জানতে পারি, আলহামদুলিল্লাহ, উনার কিছুই হয়নি। তখন বুঝতে পারি, এটি প্রতারণার চেষ্টা। ⚠️ তাই সবাইকে অনুরোধ করছি, এমন ফোন পেলে ভয় পেয়ে কোনো টাকা পাঠাবেন না। আগে পরিবারের সদস্যের সঙ্গে সরাসরি যোগাযোগ করে বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করুন। সতর্ক থাকুন, অন্যকেও সতর্ক করুন।
