  All you have to do is take her to another lab you trust and get it checked if you have doubt... Just to be on a safer side... She being pregnant within that period is possible but I've never heard of scan detecting anything in the stomach which is less than a month... If it's somehow possible then make sure it's yours

  Sanford has so many branches, I'm a nurse in one of their branches, you can take her back for proper verification or go to another non hospital lab to do another scan in your presence

  As a medical laboratory personnel, I advise that you run the test at a lab you trust, to confirm the pregnancy. After post-natal stage, run a DNA test, to confirm weather the baby is yours. At least, 3 different labs that you trust. Good luck.

  This findings can be true especially that the gestation period is less than 4weeks. possible the lady was in her ovulation period when she visited you. if she was in her ovulation period (Danger period) after sex and release of sperms. it takes less than 24hrs for the egg and sperm to meet for fertilization to take place hence the baby.
