yes this is an ongoing scam to all banks not just pnb. I experienced it last month. They will tell you that they will replace your CC for a better card. Very professional because the voice is so you will not be suspicious, then they will even give the date when they will send the card. Then you need to pay the delivery fee via grab. That's where it is suspicious. Then I just told them to send it to my email. because he has a very professional voice and they know the end of the number for the CC and other details. then they will ask you for your rewards points. that's what they really want to get you and also transact with your CC. After I insisted that I should only transact by email they told me that they would send an email. It was only then that I was struck and thought that wait, the bank doesn't offer such a thing. So I was called right away. Thankfully, I didn't have any other details or any OTP, but I've changed my credit card number. Just a tip for everyone reading this, banks will never initiate any replacement of cards unless they expire. But we should initiate an upgrade or card change. Even if they are very professional, they should never talk about it. Before you answer that agent tell you to call back immediately since you need to confirm with the bank if it is really their agent. We will take you down from these scammers immediately.
