  The SAPS scams are frequently used to scam members of the Public. It is usually sexual misconduct in nature. *** you shared explicit photos, sexual harassment, etc. The Police will not send you messages. You will also not be asked to meet somewhere. Please block and delete. The SAPS is understaffed and simply just do not have the physical, financial and human resources to attend to each and every scamming incident. Go with your gut. Check the emails. You can spot a fake a mile away. Police mails ends with @***. And you can test it.

  This SAPS scam is truly pathetic. They call asking you to meet away from the police station. If it's real you will be requested to report to the police station not some coffee shop or Wimpy. Always put the phone down and block the number. reporting it is pointless. Nothing is ever done about it.
