I was searching for rental homes in Bengaluru via online platforms, they called me and asked for ID and selfie. I was hesitant and told I will share in person. he didn't call me afterwards. he told that he had to use that for security clearance in the gate. But once they have your aadhar or any other proof they will use that for rental scams and other scams online. so please be aware of it.
