repeated phone calls from African countries with MCB logo in the background

I got repeated phone calls from unknown phone numbers n then from my email address itself. without realising i picked up the call. the person on z other line told me ur bank account at the Mauritius Commercial Bank has been hacked and we are called every customer to give us all bank details to prevent thefts. so i went straight to the Rose Hill Police Station to report this fraudulent phone call which by the time I reached there had been repeated like 15 times within 30 minutes. The policeman, a Sergeant politely asked me why I was stressed out when I am not even a customer of the MCB. I said I was recently a victim of fraudulent thefts whereby many persons had used my bank account to steal money from other persons for fake hotel bookings. So I was still very traumatised by that problem and am still traumatised. I managed to block the spam callers from my email address.
