Recently i got a whatsapp from the number stating that i have been fined Rs 500 for breaking red light signal. Without thinking i clicked on sent pdf link. THANKS TO WHATSAPP it saved me from making further mistake by sending me POTENTIAL DANGEROUS LINK SURE TO CONTINUE alert.. You too may get a message like this. Make sure not to respond to such whatsapp messages. I later noticed that this message DIDNT EVEN STATED MY CAR NUMBER AND TIMING AND LOCATION TOO...Hence another thing to notice if you get such messages. Also if there is a challan on your number it will always be sent on the registered mobile number with your vehicle RC through SMS. And if still in doubt do a verification check on eChallan.
