Official FNB sites are `***` or `***` 2. *Urgency + Threat*: “blocked in 24hrs” is classic phishing to make you panic 3. *Weird wording*: "2026 server" and "Account. Thank you" - FNB doesn’t send messages like that 4. *Emoji + smiley*: Banks don’t use `:-)` in fraud alerts *What to do right now:* 1. *Do NOT click the link* and do NOT enter card/PIN/OTP details 2. *Delete the SMS* 3. *Report it*: - FNB Fraud line: ***** or ***** - Forward the SMS to *FNB: 27766* 4. *Check your account*: Log in via the official FNB app or `***` directly, not through any link FNB will never ask you to click a link to "update your account" or threaten to block you by SMS.
